Most organisations that build software employ testers.
• Who are they?
• What do they do all day?
• Could we just automate all of this?
• If this is testing, then what is QA?
• Are testers technical?
• We have many disciplines/specialities of developers… are there differences in testing too?

WHO

Dan works for Surevine as a Test Engineer & Test Lead. He’s been a manager, a support engineer, an automator, a coach, and was once a rubbish project manager. He’s an organiser of NottsTest, regular local speaker on testing, and promotes continuous learning.
