About the Talk
Public speaking is a strange and intimidating experience. Standing up in front of a crowd. What do you say? What do you have to say that’s of any interest or use? It’s a situation many of us have nightmares about.
We are now in a strange “mostly virtual” reality. Instead of standing in front of a crowd, they are hidden behind your webcam. Coming up with a talk and presenting it is no less scary, but now you are talking to yourself in a room while others listen.
In this talk, we will go through the process of coming up with a talk and description, but also some high-level tips on how to make sure your virtual presentation is engaging and comfortable to deliver.
