About the Talk

In this session Chris Love will walk through his observations on why data initiatives often fail and why, increasingly, he sees "data culture" as being a key factor in the success of such initiatives.

Drawing on his practical experience working with organisations across a range of sectors Chris will discuss what it means to have a successful data culture and why you should care about it. His talk will focus on five areas of a data culture: Trust, Talent, Sharing, Commitment and Mindset, and share tips and advice on what works and what to avoid.

About the Speaker

Chris Love is a Tableau and Alteryx Consultant working at The Information Lab.

A Tableau Zen Master and Alteryx ACE, Chris had 10 years experience working locally at Experian in data roles before moving to The Information Lab where he works from home in Nottingham.
