Saturnalia

We will be celebrating this ancient holiday (which starts December 17th) on its fifth day.

As is our traditional, meals will be a potluck of ancient foods. Please let us know as soon as you can what you intend to bring.

Similarly, the entertainment will include presentations by attendees on a variety of topics related to Rome and the ancient world. We already have proposed presentations on Roman legions vs. the Macedonian style phalanx, Roman iconography outside of the Empire, and famous women of early Rome. Please propose something on a topic of your own interest if you feel comfortable sharing your knowledge of the ancient world with us or doing some light research for the occasion.
