Roman Day

• What we'll do
We will be spending a full day this summer in a variety of activities related to ancient Rome. The exact agenda will depend on those who volunteer to present. So far, topics for our potential presentations include:

• ancient coins
• Roman or Barbarian Weaponry, period Siege Tactics, period fortifications , and or Naval/Merchant shipping activities
• Roman armies vs Macedonian-style armies
• ancient artifacts

Past days have included displays of Roman weapons and talks on various topics. If you are interested in presenting please send a message so that your proposed activity can be added to our schedule.

• What to bring
Sunscreen and insect repellent are advisable, as some of our activities will be outdoors. Please also bring a Roman dish for lunch/dinner, as well as any necessary materials for any presentation you may be doing.
