RSVP and SIGN-IN RSVP is required! You have to sign-in at the event on the tablet as well as the paper! We are very strict on no-shows and will exclude individuals from future events, who repeatedly pulling no-shows or fail to sign-in. SCHEDULE Between 6:00 and 6:30 pm => Doors open: The organizers usually arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the meet-up to set things up. If you like, you can hang out and talk to the other early birds. Networking is encouraged. 6:30 pm => Official start: Express introduction round and announcements This is an essential part of the meet-up. Don't be late! 7:00 pm => Free class: Ableton - Workflow & Tricks with Josh Spoon Ableton certified trainer, Josh Spoon, will show us how to efficiently produce music in Ableton, comprising the use of often overlooked features. This class is provided by Ableton, Inc. and is for producers of any skill level from beginner to professional. 9:30 pm => Official End: Leave the room. Make sure to take out your trash. Do NOT talk to organizers or speakers when they pack-up. 10:00 pm => Room will be locked: Everybody has to be out of the room! - No exceptions! We are required by the venue to lock the room at 10 pm sharp. COST Attendance is free! FOOD AND BEVERAGES You can bring your own light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The venue has a Microwave. So you can warm-up food. Please avoid strong smelling food (like fish), as well as leaving drips and crumbs. The Sand Canyon Plaza (http://www.shopirvinecompany.com/centers/irvine/sand-canyon-plaza), next to the premises on Irvine Canter Drive, provides a variety of food options. Food can only be consumed in the kitchen area! Again: Alcohol is not allowed on the premises! Reminder: We will leave the room in clean condition! LOCATION We will meet in the Irvine Ranch Water District Community Meeting Room. See the attached map and directions. Do NOT call the organizers at the day of the event. Thank you! Feel free to bring your fully charged laptop with your DAW and a pair of headphones.
