I really enjoy building products that have a positive impact on large user bases. This is especially gratifying when the product is a result of a small and lean team making big moves. That's exactly why I'm in the tech/startup world.
I cofounded my most recent venture, bigpurpledot.com, back in December 2010. We are trying to squeeze into the market of providing technical and marketing solutions to Realtors on a national scale. Although this market appears to be saturated, there is a lot of room for a Rocky Balboa operation like ours. We are planning on disturbing the current space by dropping the entry barrier for agents (ridiculously low monthly cost and no startup fees) while pulling the rug out from our competitors (providing all the 'premium' features as standard). We hope to move onto commercial real estate space once we get a foothold on the residential market.
Open mind, willingness to go with the flow, zero ego environment, focus, and lots of espresso.
