FARMINGTON COM LIBRARY - DAY OF GAMES

Oakland County Gamers (OCG) is bringing our popular DAY OF GAMES to the Farmington Community Library every month. We are a novice friendly group that focuses on building friendships and connections through teaching games and encouraging interaction. Our goal is to build a friendly community to support local charities, while creating an awareness of how board games can bring people together.

If you haven’t played board games before, there are so many options available to newcomers. OCG has designated Game Coordinators on hand to welcome newcomers into the group and teach games during the first half of the Meetup. Each Game Coordinator will assess the knowledge of their group and suggest games that are appropriate for an enjoyable experience. These are all great games that balance problem solving, player cooperation, light diplomacy, and (most importantly) social interaction.

DIRECTIONS

All Farmington DAY OF GAME meetups will be located at the Main Library in Farmington Hills located on 12 Mile Road. Enter the library, take the stairs to the right past the front desk, and we will be in the main meeting room upstairs, the Auditorium. We will post signs at the entrance of the library to help direct newcomers to our location in the library.

When you arrive, be sure to sign in at the entry table, retrieve your name tag, and log your attendance. There will never be a cover charge or dues assigned for this community. All events and teaching services are provided and managed by volunteers. So please share any appreciation you have for OCG with anyone wearing a Green Nametag.
