Details

The South Texas Hyperion User Group (STxHUG), in collaboration with ODTUG, invites you to join us for our next Meetup in Houston!

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn even more about FCCS from Oracle’s very own VP of Product Development, Rajesh Bhatia, and learn from Erika Loomis why Exterran, a Houston-based leader in oil and gas processing and equipment, made the switch from BlackLine to Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and has never looked back.

Agenda:

3:00 – 3:30 p.m. Networking + FCCS and ARCS demo stations

3:30 – 4:00 p.m. "Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) Overview," presented by Rajesh Bhatia, Oracle Corporation VP of Product Development.
Did you know that Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) is now powered by Essbase? Come get your burning questions about FCCS vs. HFM answered and understand how FCCS includes more functionality than just consolidations (e.g. Close Manager, Reporting, Supplemental Data Manager, etc.). Understand how the Essbase technology that we all know and love supports a powerful consolidation engine in the cloud, complete with an ever-growing library of prebuilt dimensions, calculations, reports, dashboards, and KPIs that are designed to help you reduce time to close with a more timely and transparent process! Topics include:
· FCCS feature overview - What to expect?
· FCCS data management - How does it work?
· Hybrid cloud deployments - When does this look like?
· Commonly asked questions - What to know before I begin?

4:00 – 4:30 p.m. "ARCS Customer Highlight: Exterran," presented by Erika Loomis, Senior Application Analyst at Exterran.
This presentation will take you on Exterran's journey, but also uncover the main differences between other account reconciliation tools (e.g. BlackLine, Trintech) and Oracle ARCS. Understand how features such as custom formats, prebuilt reports, auto-reconciliation, and data management are helping them be proactive about compliance. Topics include:
· Oracle ARCS roadmap at Exterran
· Differences between BlackLine and ARCS
· Pros and cons of an account reconciliations tool
· Level of business involvement vs. IT vs. third-party consulting
· Lessons learned and Q&A

4:30 – 5:00 p.m. “Stump the Experts” - Open Q&A on any topic with a panel of Oracle Hyperion Industry Experts

5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Happy Hour at Kirby Ice House - 3333 Eastside Street Houston, TX

Please note:
The conference room is located on the first floor, adjacent to Rising Roll.
