The idea is to get like minded people interested in learning more about offensive security together to work through material in groups. All skill levels welcome.
Check out, or request an invitation to offsec-rva.slack.com.
We can setup channels for ongoing discussions for different groups.
Want to start with challenges at overthewire.org or pentesteracademy.com but looking for others to do the same, maybe this is the place to connect. Want to walk through Black Hat Python? Lets see if others want to setup a series of sessions and work through it together. I figure multiple sessions can be going with different groups, some people can join multiple sessions. It's just an idea, see where it goes, to help people learn more about penetration testing and offensive security, but doesn't have to be limited to that.
If you are looking for a group of people to do OSCP with, this could be the place to do it.
It is an experiment I hope will grow, draw in some mentors, and let give people a place to help them learn and grow by helping each other.
Meetups don't have to be physical, hangouts and other options can be used for people traveling or just collaborating together from home.
