OKC Design Tech: Big Meetup

This is the first meetup of Design Tech OKC. Our group focuses on learning about the marriage of design and tech through regular presentations and interactive workshops.

In this first meetup we will be going over:

• What OKC Design Tech is
• A 10,000 foot view of User Experience Design (UXD) and Design Thinking
• How to participate in workshops
• How you can help

In the UXD portion of the talk we will cover:

• Why the User Experience (UX) is important
• Some basic terms and concepts to get started
• Resources to start learning on your own
• An introduction to the upcoming workshop and prep work you can do before hand

We will also leave enough time for a meet and greet after the talk so that you can get to know the user group organizers and find opportunities with the group.

This event is free and open to everyone.

Where do I park?
You can park in the lot on the south side of the building. Overflow parking is on the southwest corner of Sheridan and Klein. See the parking map in photos.
