This month is a special event, as we're teaming up with the OKC Open Source Hardware group for the first half of a two-day, all-encompassing Pi-hole topic, from concept through to final installation. Pi-hole is "A black hole for Internet advertisements on a Raspberry Pi", but it is also so much more. It began as an advertising-aware DNS/Web server but now has expanded into a full fledged network monitoring tool and ad blocker that runs on various platforms, providing network-level advertisement and tracker blocking to your entire network, including smart TVs and mobile operating systems (even on the go, when paired with a VPN).

If you don't have a Raspberry Pi, that's fine, all you need is Linux, and if you don't have that, you're still good to attend the Friday portion and learn a lot. And I'm sure there'll be plenty of hands on to be had on Saturday, whatever your hardware situation. Show up Friday to find out everything you'd need to know for Saturday!
