How to GraphQL with Aaron Krauss

Welcome to the first talk of OKC WebDevs! We’re kicking off the group with a language-agnostic web development topic that you can implement today. In this talk with Aaron Krauss, we’ll explore what GraphQL is, what problems it solves, what problems it creates, and how you can go about implementing it in your favorite language. We’ll also have a live GraphQL demo built in Ruby - which will be a great opportunity to experience Ruby if you haven’t used it yet!

Aaron Krauss is a senior software engineer at Clevyr in OKC who specializes in a bunch of languages - but his favorites are Ruby, JavaScript, Python, C#, and PHP (thanks to Laravel). Off work hours, he loves traveling with his wife, playing tennis, playing video games, and getting super involved in a new hobby seemingly every month (which he then never returns to).
