ONA Detroit Talk: Truth, Bias and Editorial Freedom in the Age of Trump

Join us at Detroit's Atwater Brewery on March 16 from 6-8pm for a conversation on what it means to be a member of the press in 2017. We'll talk about how local journalism organizations are weighing concerns about bias and objectivity with our obligation to report the truth and analyze the current political climate. We'll also discuss how journalists are discussing politics on social media. And we'll widen the scope beyond government to include other threats to editorial freedom and independence.
