Will social media regulation curtail free expression online?

BOM (Birmingham Open Media)

Concerned about Government proposals to regulate social media platforms (and social media users)? Curious about the state of digital censorship in the UK? Then join us in Birmingham for an evening with Open Rights Group executive director Jim Killock as he reviews new Government plans to address “online harms” from bullying to terrorism, and how it could impact your right to free expression online. We’ll also discuss how you can make your voice heard by responding to the Government’s public consultation. This is a free event and no experience is necessary. All are welcome!
