Its been a busy start of the year, but we finally have a great talk and speaker to come and share experiences in securing a large cloud infrastructure.

Hatitye Chindove (Information Security Architect at
ZappiStore) will be enlightening us on Setting up a security analysis toolbox on AWS (serverless primer). Abstract:
"Nowadays with the widespread adoption of agile methodologies for running businesses, DevOps cultures, open source software, outsourced infrastructure services such as cloud services, and third-party applications has made information security monitoring challenging. Information security specialists have seen the traditional control over perimeters being replaced by ever expanding unwieldy ones as organisations are looking to be more innovative. To take on these challenges, we built an analysis toolbox that comprised of an in-house data lake, data harvester/scraper, security information and event management system (SIEM) and a data lab to conduct research work on."

As always the meetup is open to all, but be aware that the content will be focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and you could apply it to other environments as well.
