Meetup Collider
Details
OWASP Dorset will be participating in a Meetup Collider at JPMorgan.
Please note: For this event we will need to provide JP Morgan with your Meetup handle so that you can enter the site, however we have agreed with them that any details supplied by us for this purpose will be deleted after the event.
We will be hosting a meetup within our own section of the event followed by general networking of all meetups. This will be a great opportunity to network with other meetups and exchange ideas with a broad range of attendees.
Talk 1 - OWASP Daniel Warden and Mark Davison 2 of the Chapter leads will give an introduction to OWASP, how you can leverage the organisations resources to improve your security and of course how you can get involved
Talk 2 - James Riley will discuss the different route to becoming a Penetration Tester and how they may not be as obvious as you might imagine.
Talk 3 - Mike Warner will cover Application Security 101 – A break down of the theory behind web application vulnerabilities, providing a handful of payload examples to exploit the most common weaknesses: SQL Injection, Cross site scripting (XSS), Path Traversal, and Command “OS” injection
