Our June meeting will be held at the Antioch branch of the Johnson County Public Library, at 8700 Shawnee Mission Parkway, in the large meeting room. As always, RSVPs are appreciated but not required.

Our speakers will be Caleb Christopher and Justin Ferguson presenting two different topics on cryptography and tools.

Caleb Christopher - Cryptography 101

Caleb will present an overview of our need for cryptography, what it is, and how it works with some practical examples.

Caleb is the founder of Infosec Consulting, a security practice enabling SMB-focused MSPs to deliver cybersecurity services to their clients. He is a regular speaker for local business events and at regional IT and information security conferences and has 10 years experience in the security industry.

Justin Ferguson - Tool Talk - OpenSSL Basics

Justin will present an overview of the openssl commandline tool and how it can be used to troubleshoot problems, build systems, and decipher the mysteries of certificates.

Justin is an Application Security Engineer and Full Stack Developer at New Context Services, and is the chapter leader for OWASP - Kansas City.
