What we’re about
This group is designed for young professionals (20's/early 30's) looking to meet new friends, explore, and socialize around the suburbs. Our events are primarily around the more “central” suburbs like Oak Park, Forest Park, and Elmhurst, but we also have events as far west as Naperville and into Chicago itself. This group is perfect for people who are new in town or for those who want to expand their social circles. You can use this group to meet new friends, socialize and get to know the area! We do happy hours, trivia nights, outdoor and active events like rock climbing, game nights, dinners, nights out on the town, and much more!
This is a very friendly, incredibly active group with both a lot of regulars and frequent new faces, and with some of the biggest event turnouts you’ll find on meetup!

Oct Volleyball Party☀️🍺🏐Part 2
Berens Park , 493 N Oak lawn ave, ,, Elmhurst, IL, USWe're back with a Part 2 and no bears game either!! :} As we enter Oct, the last month of outdoor opps, lets make the most of good weather & nets! 🩳🕶☀️Feel free to arrive at ur convenience.
We will be playing 🏐, snacking drinking mingling, any other fun activity...bags/catch/spikeball/connect4/etc. Going for walks around walk path. Bring chairs, music, and blankets to sit on. 🥏🏈🎾⚽️🎲♟🔫🃏🪀🥅 etc are welcome additionally along with other yard games. One court will usually be for 6’s, which is more recreational—perfect for anyone newer to the game or just wanting to have fun. The other court is typically for 4’s at B or BB level (bump-set-spike only). If we have a big group, the B or BB court can switch to 6’s, but it will still stay at a B or BB level to keep things challenging.
Volunteers who bring food, pastas, dips, snacks, beers, seltzers, wine, booze, sodas, juice, waters, fruits, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, utensils, music, napkins, coolers, etc are highly appreciated. 🍊🍇🍌🍉🍓🥨🍪🍩🥪🍕🥗🧆🥧🧁🍿🥜🧃🥤🥃🍷🍻☕️🫖🧊🍽🥄🍴🧁🥮🍱🍝🌯🥑 --> Party ain’t a party without the group effort & each other.
