Welcome to my home! We will be painting flowers directly on plywood previously treated to accept watercolour painting. Don't worry if you haven't painted before, I will guide you in every step! I will have some plywood sketched with this flower bouquet or you can just paint loosely on the wood. Afterwards you will be drawing with ink to give a vintage look and finally sealing. I will provide all tools and materials, tea, coffee and some snacks. There is some parking in the front of my house, or across the street at the supermarket too.
Let's meet for a board game night at LVLUP GAMES retail store & cafe! Join us for a relaxing afternoon of games at a friendly, local game store! A $5+tx ($5.65 taxes included) table fee per person applies. I will have a list of games for begginers and also bring one of my daughter's easy games in case we don't find anything interesting. Will be a fun night of playing some games. #Fun #SmallGroups
Explore all of the exhibitions on view for free on the first Friday of every month! With extended hours until 8:00 pm and free performances and activities each month, there’s no better time to experience the AGH. On the first Friday of every month, admission to the AGH is free from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm. To complement your evening, join AGH Docents in a free, guided tour at 6:00 pm. Free Friday tours take on a more casual, conversational approach, and add some interesting facts and stories to your Gallery experience. We will meet between 5:45 to 6:00 pm at the main entrance. The AGH is located in the heart of downtown Hamilton, directly across the street from the Sheraton Hotel and Jackson Square Shopping Centre. Underground parking can be accessed via Summers Lane or King Street West. The parking garage fees are $1.25/30 minutes up to a maximum of $10/day. Street parking is available nearby and costs $1.50 per hour Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. They are free after 6 pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. If you are travelling to the AGH by GO Transit there is a bus stop directly behind the AGH on the corner of Main Street West and Summers Lane, in front of City Hall. The Hamilton GO Centre, if you are travelling by train, is a 10-minute walk from the AGH.
Welcome to my home! We will be doing needle felting to make this felted little fellow just in time for Easter. It could be any colour of wool you prefer. If we have time, we can do some felted eggs or a carrot too! I will provide all tools and materials, tea, coffee and some snacks. Warning! Be careful with your fingers, you might prick your fingers with the needle if you do it too fast. There is some parking in the front of my house, or across the street at the supermarket too.
