Newsletter of The North Texas Objectivist Society

"Just as a proper society is ruled by laws, not by men, so a proper association is united by ideas, not by men, and its members are loyal to the ideas, not to the group. … When men are united by ideas, i.e., by explicit principles, there is no room for favors, whims, or arbitrary power: the principles serve as an objective criterion for determining actions and for judging men, whether leaders or members.”
—Ayn Rand

Sense of Life Member Profile: Update on John Davis

Per our previous newsletter, John has been on a great bike tour through Africa. For updates on his progress, please take a few minutes to visit his site: http://www.crazyguyon...

John completed his adventure in Malawi, and then moved on to Zambia with his group.

As usual, John does a great job of providing descriptions and pictures of the local scenery, wildlife and people in each town and city he travels through. He also provides some breathtaking pictures of Victoria Falls from the Zambia side:

As well as from Zimbabwe:

John suggests those following his trip online also check out the tour website: for more pictures (he is in a few of them as well).

Tip: if you don't have a lot of time to go through all the pictures, go to the website and click on Thumbnails, and that way you can just enlarge the pictures you are most interested in. The thumbnail link is:
