UnityNYC May 2018 - Cinemachine!

Details
For the UnityNYC community's first event back on Meetup.com (since November), let's dive into a Unity feature which everyone is excited about but most people don't know how to use - Cinemachine!
Our lineup this month features the following local developers, in roughly this order:
• Loren Abdulezer [www.evolvingtech.com] will start us off with an overview of Cinemachine and Timeline, with a live demo of some basic concepts and a little bit of how to set things up.
• Alex Rau will demo one of a series of his animated shows created in Unity via Cinemachine, featuring voice sync, and then explain how he organizes and manages his scenes with lots of virtual cameras and cuts.
• Jared Halpern [www.jaredhalpern.com] will demo how to use Cinemachine in 2D (where it's way more powerful than one might think), including how to set up a 2D confiner and one or two "gotchas" to avoid.
• Finally, co-organizer Sam Levine will finish up by demoing how to use Cinemachine with Unity's post-processing stack, since that's what Unity likes to show off in its road-shows, and also because it's super, super pretty.
With any luck, we'll all walk away capable of setting up beautiful, cinematic camerawork in new projects within minutes.
As always, all are welcome, and we'll try to keep the lectures short to maximize time for high-quality networking over pizza and beer.
