Arts Workshop and Social Night

Don't be shy, give it a try. Being creative is fun with friendly people, it's a socail night too. We have the whole space upstairs at The Caroline of Brunswick to get creative and get to know each other. We will meet from 7.30. We will start with introductions to each other then I talk about themes for the night and then do activities. Some things you can work on individually some in pairs or groups. This workshop is suitable for people with any level of art experience and you can let me know in your RSVP what your background is so I can plan the night better. The cost for this Meetup is £5 and you pay in cash on the night please. The Caroline of Brunswick has a bar downstairs and also does food and you can drink and eat while we are in the workshop. It will be a social night too so come along have fun and make new friends while you get creative! You may also bring friends to this Meetup even if they are not in the group but please include them on your RSVP. We will do some figure drawing for comic strips and fashion illustration. It will include some fun life drawing of each other, plus using pictures in magazines and online. Bring a tablet, iPad or smartphone if you would like to use one. I will provide paper and drawing materials (pastels, pencils, pens, charcol) but you may bring your own if you wish.

Let's also do something that's more abstract and free as we didn't have time before! This maybe a multi media project working in pairs or groups. I may ask you to bring in objects or materials for this nearer the time so watch this space. If you enjoy this workshop we will do more of them!
