Fabulous Thai Dinner

• What we'll do
Opal Thai has just moved from Haleiwa to downtown and this is great news because Opal Thai is probably the best Thai restaurant on Oahu. I will be posting dinners here regularly and want to stay in good graces with the management, so it is very important I give the restaurant an accurate head count the day before. Please don't rsvp unless you are sure you can make it, and if something comes up after you say yes, please change your reservation right away and let me know. Otherwise, we won't be able to have more meetups at this restaurant. A few more things to know. Dinner is best done family style with everyone splitting the bill. Opal Thai will add an 18% gratuity to the charge. Also, Opel likes to come out and ask what people do and don't like and then bring out dishes of his choosing which are often not on the menu. In other words, we are likely to put ourselves in his capable hands as to what we actually eat rather than ordering off the menu. It will be an adventure, but I've never had anything but a great meal at his restaurant. BYOB. The meetup system is giving me trouble to post the address because it still thinks the restaurant is in Haleiwa. So I couldn't post its name in the venue. Opal Thai is at 1030 Smith between King and Hotel, but closer to Hotel, I believe.
