Friday May 20th The Washington Center for the Performing Arts invites you to our final concert of this seasons Black Box Cabaret Jazz Series with guitar master Leif Totusek.
Leif is an American guitarist, band-leader, composer and a highly respected artist on the scene in London, Seattle and Boston. He has performed and collaborated with Haitian, Cuban and African artist the likes of Mose Fan Fan, Ali Birra, Geoffrey Oryema, Diblo Dibala, Orchestra Virunga, Tabu Ley Rochereau. His ability to move from ethnic music to the world of be-bop and original Jazz make his concerts an electrifying experience.
Leif Totusek will be presenting his original music with his jazz group 1-2-3 featuring the incredible Phil Sparks on upright bass and percussion wizard Larry Jones on drums.
