Title: Improving the Developer Experience with 3 Musketeers!
Docker containers are a standard unit of software that packages up code and all its dependencies so the application runs quickly and reliably from one computing environment to another. Yet, it's quite common that teams don't leverage this same technology on their local development environment. Instead, new team members slog through out of date wikis and READMEs or, worse, tribal knowledge, just to build their first commit. We will explore a pattern called the 3 Musketeers that aims to promote Consistency, Control, and Confidence wherever your code is built.
Speaker Bio: Andy is a Technical Principal at Contino and is passionate about all things software, specifically the flow from an idea all the way to delivery into the hands of users. He finds it weird to talk about himself in the third person. He believes that transformation starts with people, then process, then technology.
