What we're about

At our meetups, we eat lovely meals without meat or dairy. We're a group of people who have seen the documentary, Forks Over Knives, and would like to learn more about whole-foods, plant-based living. We first organized in September, 2011, and have been meeting regularly for restaurant meals, potlucks, movies, fun conversation, recipes, shopping tips, and support.

Dinner at High Peak -- Omaha's first Burmese restaurant!

Yes, Monday is a weird day for our meetup. (My photo above.) They will make any meal on the menu with tofu instead of meat. They were happy to steam my tofu rather than fry it. Note: They serve jasmine or coconut rice, not brown rice.
