What we're about

We are one of the largest singles groups in Phoenix, mostly age 30 and up, building meaningful and satisfying relationships through Christ.

These healthy relationships help us find enjoyment of life, strength in hard times, and a heart of grace to reach our community for Christ.

• Hiking

• Bowling

• Clean Comedy

• Dining & Fellowship

• Travel & Exploration

• Celebrate Recovery

• Homeless Ministry

• Single Parenting

• Grief Share

• Divorce Care

• Divorce Care for Kids

We meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on the roller-skating rink in the Family Life Center at North Phoenix Baptist Church at 5757 N Central Ave (SE corner of Central Ave and Bethany Home Rd) Phoenix, AZ 85012.

Come join us.

Separation and Divorce – Recovery and Support

North Phoenix Baptist Church

If you're suffering the pain of separation or divorce, you can find help and healing for yourself and your kids. When we're wounded by the ones we love, it's common to want to shut down and withdraw from those who can help, but isolating ourselves only prolongs and deepens the pain. Now you can find healing of your relational wounds. DivorceCare is a worldwide video-based curriculum that has helped people recover from life crises for more than 20 years. This powerful program is being hosted in Phoenix by the On Purpose Singles Meetup. Our Divorce Recovery Group is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through this alone. Please join us at our next meeting. Our group is safe, confidential, and supportive. We'll help you understand what's happening to you and your kids and how to deal with the destructive issues of guilt, shame, humiliation, loneliness, confusion, frustration, anger, and unforgiveness. We'll help you find answers to your questions and solutions to the issues of moving on, new relationships, sexuality, financial survival, reconciliation, and how to work peacefully with your ex to successfully co-parent your kids. DivorceCare has 13 sessions. Each session covers a different subject and runs about 90 minutes. The sessions are held every Wednesday evening, starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. Each session is self-contained and will be repeated. So, you may start immediately without missing out on any of the sessions. If you have children, ages 5 to 12, you may bring them to DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) directly across the hall from our room. Your kids will deal with many of the same issues we cover in the adult DivorceCare but at an age-appropriate level. Please bring your kids to DC4K between 6:00 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. to check them in before our session begins. Please call the DivorceCare coordinator, Marilyn Nash, at[masked] before Wednesday to preregister your kids for DC4K, or you may email her at [masked]. During June, July, and August, childcare for kids younger than 5 years old or older than 12 years old will not be available. If you have questions, you may call the DivorceCare coordinator, Marilyn Nash, at[masked], or you may email her at [masked]. We look forward to seeing you at our next session: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Room A-202 Building A, 2nd floor (south side of the campus) 5757 N Central Ave Phoenix, AZ 85012 (southeast corner of Central Ave and Bethany Home Rd)

On Purpose Singles Meetup

North Phoenix Baptist Church

Come discover God's purpose for your life. Join about 100 singles from age 35+ for spiritual growth and social connection. We are Christ-centered singles, reaching our community with the good news of grace and forgiveness, intimacy with God, and fulfillment in life. We meet for coffee, connection, and Bible study in a safe environment where you'll grow in faith, build healthy relationships, and find opportunities to serve God in meaningful ways. If you're a single parent, you know how hard it can be to raise your kids alone. One of our On Purpose Bible studies is designed for single parents, where you'll find answers to your questions and great wisdom to guide you in raising your kids in a way that honors God and builds their character. If you have questions, you may call the Singles Ministry coordinator, Marilyn Nash, at[masked], or you may email her at [masked]. We look forward to seeing you at our next session: 9:00 a.m. Sunday The Rollerskating Rink Family Life Center (FLC), 1st floor (southeast corner of the campus) 5757 N Central Ave Phoenix, AZ 85012 (southeast corner of Central Ave and Bethany Home Rd)

Single Parenting Support and Discussion

North Phoenix Baptist Church

If you're a single parent, you know how hard it can be to raise your kids alone. This On Purpose Bible study is designed for single parents, where you'll find answers to your questions and great wisdom to guide you in raising your kids in a way that honors God and builds their character. We always have great discussion within the group, and we address your concerns (your struggles, your kids' struggles, working with their other parent, and much more). We share with each other what we're going through, and we care for each other. Please come and join us. There are excellent, caring classes for your kids, too, according to their ages or grade levels in school. Come early to get them registered in their classes. Then come and get some coffee and snacks, and make connections with other singles in the skating rink before class starts.
