First Meetup on data visualization practice

There will be two 25min lectures on data visualization. The speakers are:

Elizaveta (Liza) Semenova, a PhD candidate in Epidemiology/Biostatistics at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. She will talk about one of her PhD projects on malaria - how Bayesian analysis of data helps visualize the geographical distribution of the disease.

Felix Michel, a journlist and coder working currently at Tageswoche. He will talk about his stories, projects and approach towards data visualization.

The talks will be recorded and shared.

We will close with some nice beers and snacks.
