What we'll do : Ride our Bikes
We will be meeting in the Back Parking Lot of Bottle Revolution/Buffalo Brothers. Please be ready to roll out at at 6 PM.
This ride goes through the city of Raleigh, the NCMA grounds, past Umstead Park, through the RBC center, NC State and Meredith Campuses, and some Raleigh neighborhoods. There is some traffic, stop signs and stop lights to deal with in certain spots.
Based on last years attendance, there are 2 Ride Lengths for 2 Pace Groups, we will adjust accordingly based on attendance:
15 - 17 MPH Average Pace - 18 Mile Route
"B" 18 Mile Route : https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20530657
18 MPH + Average Pace - 22 Mile Route
A Route : https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20530494
Please be able to maintain 15 mph average so the ride sweep doesn't leave you. This is a no-drop ride, meaning that the group or a designated "ride sweep" will stop at intersections to assist anyone who needs direction or is having mechanical or physical difficulties.
Riders leave the parking lot at 6 PM.
It is a mixture of country road, city street, neighborhood street, and greenway. We leave the Raleigh Brewing parking lot at 6 PM and this ride should take about 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
Join us after the ride at Bottle Rev or Buffalo Brothers for Beer and food.
