About our sponsor (and host), Deliveroo

Since 2014, Deliveroo has expanded from a tiny little space in central London to hundreds of cities in twelve countries, and the tech team has grown at a similar rate. Part of what makes this growth sustainable is our belief in an open culture and proactive knowledge-sharing across the organization. This culture influences our use of shared libraries, our choice in communication tools (such as Slack and Facebook Workplace) - we even hired one of our developers thanks to their contribution to our open source engineering blog!
We are excited to host the Open Charity initiative and meet like-minded technologists who embrace these same values to build innovative and meaningful products.
