About Next Level Civic Tech: Build a Plan

Now that you’ve come up with a great idea, your next step is to operationalize it! How do you do that? By bringing structure and objectives around both the project (the time it takes to get your idea up and running) as well as the process (how will your project stay alive after you get it up and running).

This not-to- be-missed event brings together Open Data Delaware, Content Strategy Delaware, and the Microsoft Store to help you find answers to your structure questions. After a short presentation, you’ll get a chance to workshop your project governance and planning with local experts.

About the Open Data Challenge

The Open Data Challenge is a partnership with the State of Delaware's Government Information Center (http://gic.delaware.gov) and the Tech Forum of Delaware (http://techforumde.org) following the launch of Delaware's Open Data Portal (http://data.delaware.gov). The Open Data Challenge will help to build tangible, sustainable solutions for community issues using open data. The Challenge includes a series of 6 workshops curated by Open Data Delaware, the Tech Forum of Delaware's Idea Challenge, and Open Data Delaware's National Day of Civic Hacking Event. Winning teams from the National Day of Civic Hacking have the opportunity to win cash prizes following completion of their project.
