Open Infra Meetup - Deploying and managing AI/ML frameworks

I’m happy to invite you all to our first Meetup in 2019. After renaming the group, and defining the wider focus, we decided to do our first meetup featuring the core topic of deploying machine learning frameworks on Compute & Container Infrastructure.

We will be hosted by our friends at TNG Technology Consulting
(close to the Arabellastraße subway station).

18:30 - 19:15: Get together, Snacks & Drinks, Introductions

19:15 - 20:00: Getting Started with Machine Learning - Keith Tenzer

In this session we will strive to build a common understanding of what exactly machine learning is, and examine what options developers have to do machine learning. We will look at real-world examples, explore details of some of the software stacks available today, and discuss some of the requirements for machine learning workloads. By understanding the tooling to build and manage machine learning workflows, we will provide some context to get started today. Finally, a live demonstration will be given running on Red Hat's machine learning platform. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of machine learning and where they can get started on their journey.

20:15 - 20:45: Deploying machine learning, and predictive analytics platforms to manage and optimize mobile networks - Yves Fauser

Ingestion and real time analytics of significant amount of telemetry data generated by network elements in mobile wireless networks is no easy task. At Uhana, we are building a platform that is able to help network operators to gain deep and fine-grained visibility into their networks. We will introduce you to the technology stack we chose, and give you some insights into the challenges we see operating the platform.
