What we're about

The Open Source Technology Center PDX MeetUp is a group for anyone who wants to engage in, contribute to, learn about, and adopt open source technologies. Community is at the heart of most open source projects, and Intel is deeply involved in collaborating with the communities of people who contribute to these projects. Learn more about contributing to the many communities in which we are involved.

Who should join?

Our community is for anyone interested in understanding, designing, implementing, or supporting open infrastructure and open source. Beginner to seasoned expert, all are invited.

What to expect?

Our events offer a variety of open source topics presented as panels, hands-on workshops, demos, keynotes, and more. We are always open to new ideas, so if you have a format you’d like to explore (hackathon anyone?!?!) reach out and let’s plan something.

Code of Conduct

Be friendly, patient and welcoming. Be considerate. Be respectful. Collaborate openly. When we disagree, try to understand why. In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as contributors and maintainers have adopted the Code of Conduct from the Contributor Covenant. We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone. This Code of Conduct applies equally to all community participants and to all spaces the project manages or authorizes (ie. IRC channels, the mailing lists, issue trackers, sponsored events, and any other forums the community uses and the project manages). Violations of this code of conduct in or outside the project space might affect your ability to participate in the community after appropriate investigation. See our full Code of Conduct (https://github.com/open-media-streamer/oms-client-javascript/blob/master/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md).
