May 28 Tractor Supply on Colonel Glenn Road is having an event for us . They will be supplying hamburgers and hot dogs for sale, and we receive the money. We will be taking adoptables and need some volunteers. So far Ann G. and Christine , Tyler, John and Katie are going. We plan on being there from 10-2. I know it's Memorial Day weekend, but with the price of gas I'm sure many people will be staying local. Tractor Supply will also provide tables and shade for us and the dogs.
Puppy Love...if you are interested in joining our program to take puppies to visit folks in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, womens shelters...contact Leah at leahcapel@sbcglobal.net
The winners of the Be Kind to Animals art contest will be posted on our website later tonight
Don't forget our booth at MidTowne Antiques is always looking for new merchandise. If you have something you would like to donate, contact Ann at aberjones@yahoo.com and she will arrange to get it from you. Please don't bring things to the shelter. And check it out...we have some great stuff there..
Check our our fabulous new cat rooms. More space to roam free; new "condo living" with private "bathrooms" and room to roam and visit even for the cats who are not in the cage-less rooms.
A painless way to help the shelter...Kroger cards. If you buy a card for $5, which is credited to your first purchase, load the card and use it (over and over0 like a debit card...we get 5% of all your Kroger purchases. This does not affect your Kroger discount cardhttp://warmhearts.org/index.php/kroger-cards-are-here
We appreciate donations of Pedigree Dog Food and Purina Cat Food. Why just those brands? Because if we keep them on a consistent diet, they wont have upset stomachs; and if they do have a problem...well, we'll know it isn't the food!!
