Open Garage
Feel free to drop by at one of our weekly Open Garage events on Thursdays. Make sure to bring a drink (bring whatever you like and share it through our community fridge). We're keeping the empties to cover our (low) budget. Bring a project that you want to work on. Discuss ideas to get you to the next step. Show your results to fellow nerds, geeks and hackers alike. You're also welcome to just drop by, to check whether the geeky vibe would boost your creativity. The garage is OPEN, meaning that everyone is welcome, no matter what skills or karma level they are at. Also, feel free to bring your interested friends for a visit.

What we're about

The "Open Garage" is a garage in Borsbeek, Belgium, some sort of hackerspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackerspace), where I (Anthony Liekens (https://plus.google.com/u/2/+AnthonyLiekens/posts)) host weekly workshops and many of my projects. Every Thursday evening since November 2011, the garage is open to everyone who wants to join our community.

Check out some media reviews of the Open Garage:

Just be excellent to each other (principle #1 out of 1). Bring a drink, a project and a friend and we're all set.

For those that may be new and interested: There's usually a few technology-minded people that drop by on random Thursday evenings with "goesting" to make. Some people bring a project and others bring their skills to collaborate on others' projects. (and there's a lot of nerd talk)

If you're into a geeky bar mode, feel free to drop by. It is NOT required for your skills be on a high level, you are NOT required to contribute knowledge; instead, it is encouraged that everyone LEARNS stuff at our gatherings.

There's a wiki (http://wiki.opengarage.org) to dump your ideas and plans that relate to the garage!
