What we're about

At Open Machine Learning, ETC. (OMLETC), our main goal is to promote mini-open-source projects, sharing code, documenting and presenting them. These projects can be as complicated as the latest cool way to train a complex model for AI, or as simple and elegant as a novel way to clean data for better use. We welcome and encourage people from all different levels in areas of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science to share their open source mini-project with our community.

Presentation Criteria:

• Open source code

• Publicly available data

• Documented method

Note: Talks trying to recreate a published work belonging to somebody else are also welcomed

Examples:

• Dealing with imbalanced data

• Building an image classifier using Keras/Scikit-learn

• ETC
