July meetup to get after OpenStack Monasca

July meetup to get after OpenStack Monasca

Details

OpenStack monitoring as a service (MONaaS) is project Monasca. In our July session HP joins us as co-sponsor and will provide an overview of the Monasca architecture including a live demo.

Monasca is a open-source multi-tenant, highly scalable, performant, fault-tolerant monitoring-as-a-service solution that integrates with OpenStack. It uses a REST API for high-speed metrics processing and querying and has a streaming alarm engine and notification engine.

Our session will be lead by Dexter Fryar - a senior engineer working on the HP Helion OpenStack platform. He is currently working on the Monasca (MONaaS) project. His responsibilities include fostering the adoption of the Monasca project by helping others use, deploy, and extend the project. HP Helion and community requirements are supported through our project pages, meetings, and IRC.
