Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is an architectural concept that employs virtualization technologies to virtualize entire Network Service Functions (NS). Virtual Network Functions (VNF) become the building blocks to connect, and/or chain together, and deliver variations of the Network Service. This presentation outlines the mechanism OpenStack uses to achieve Service Function Chaining.
