SUSE: Cloud strategy for VMs and Containers

Speaker bio:

Brandon is a sales engineer for SUSE covering primarily (but not limited to) the southeast region, based out of Nashville, TN. He studied computer science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and spent 12 years working for various parts of Dell/EMC. The interest in open source goes back to the mid 90s tinkering with old equipment in High School. His other interests include Astrophysics and PC Gaming (definitely a “Zenyatta main”).

Learn about SUSE Openstack Cloud 7! See what is new in the current release as well as possible new announcements from SUSECON which takes place a couple of weeks before this event. This will be an overview of the install and administration of the system which includes running VMs and containers in the same environment and what concerns may arise as well as developing a cloud strategy that utilizes both VMs and containers. Which makes sense for you and when?
