Newcomers to the cloud are often perplexed by the number of different storage options available (Ephemeral, Block, File, and Object). Each comes with its own set of commands, APIs, and typical use cases. Even more confusing, there are different implementations of the same storage option! It might seem daunting to learn them all but it is doable!

We've put together a hands-on workshop to teach you the basics of each storage option. You'll be provided with access to a cloud with all four storage options enabled and ready to be configured and used.

Attendees will need to bring their own laptops with a modern web browser and SSH client. We'll be working with storage across both public (AWS) and private (OpenStack) clouds.
