"Jakarta EE 8 runtime environments are highly optimized, fast, productive and "Time To Hello World" is extremely short.

MicroProfile 3.0 comes with interesting cloud-native features. But how well they are working together?
What do the code, configuration, setup, deployment, testing, turnaround times look like in practice?
In this JUG session, I will develop, test and discuss the design choices of communicating microservices live and "from scratch".

...towards the end we try to compete with Go and get the footprint of a microservice smaller than NodeJS.
It's an interactive session: questions, especially any criticism, from the audience are welcome."
