Appropriate for beginners or experienced meditators. This a secular meditation group with no religious affiliation. The leaders vary from week to week and are experienced meditators from a variety of traditions.
The teachers come from a variety of backgrounds and are all experienced meditators. We predominantly teach mindfulness techniques with some concentration and loving kindness meditation. There are two 20-minute sittings – the first is guided and the second is silent with time for short discussion and questions.
These sessions are free, and all of the leaders are volunteers. We welcome donations of gratitude so that we may pay for our website maintenance, ZOOM account and prepare for renting rooms, purchasing mats and cushions, and providing affordable retreats when social distancing rules are removed.
