Network virtualization with OpenContrail

Hello everyone - our Dec. event is now set. Come on out and Meetup! Juniper Networks joins us as co-sponsor and we will get under the covers of OpenContrail.

You want agility, flexibility, and security for your cloud. That means utilizing all the cloud environments at your disposal to run applications, designing your IT systems to SCALE while securing your network end-to-end.

With a secure elastic cloud, your workloads move between private and public clouds dynamically while utilizing the best compute vehicle (VMs, Containers or Bare Metal Servers) available to run a particular workload. This requires Cloud Connect technology to connect to any compute environments anywhere. Not to mention you must isolate tenants running on your shared IT infrastructure and protect workloads across cloud boundaries.

In our meetup session we will explore how OpenContrail and network virtualization supports secure elastic clouds.

Our session will be lead by Michael Langdon. Michael is a Senior Director at Juniper Networks in the Contrail Business Unit where he supports field enablement and evangelism for cloud and network services virtualization. He spends most of his time interacting with users discussing architectures to drive seamless integration of network services as part an overall agile application and user services delivery workflow

• A light dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of Juniper ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the sessions ~ 7:00pm.

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.

• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
