Boston OpenStack Meetup - Swift Benchmarking for Scale.

Greetings and Happy New Year!

Here we go in 2017 with our first OpenStack Meetup. Our friends at HPE are co-sponsoring this month. In this meetup we will explore OpenStack Swift scaling and how it can be affected by a variety of variables. We will explore and discuss a number of different test results in which a single configuration or test parameter is scaled and the impact observed.

Joining us to lead the conversation is Mark Seger is a 41-year veteran of the industry, widely recognized for his creation of the collectl performance tool, and now a member of the HPE Cloud Services team.

Reminders:

• A gourmet Pizza dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of HPE ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the sessions ~ 7:00pm.

• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.

• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
