Postponed. Boston OpenStack Meetup - Container Management

Hello all - Rancher Labs will be joining us in Dec. Kubernetes has shown considerable traction since its debut in 2014, however there is still a significant portion of enterprises that have chosen other solutions for managing containers over Kubernetes. Given its technical leadership in the community this begs the question, why aren't more using it? In this talk we will address some of the reasons for this gap, and ideas for how we can solve it including what we are doing at Rancher Labs on this front.

William Jimenez from Rancher Labs will lead the session. William has spent the last 6+ years managing large systems at scale using a variety of DevOps technologies. He now helps companies solve similar problems using containers and solutions from Rancher Labs.

• A gourmet Pizza dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of Rancher Labs starting ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the session ~ 7:00pm.

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.

• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
