Boston OpenStack Meetup Thurs. Feb 15

Details
See the updates below - we have a 2nd topic this month! This month's meetup will dive into networking and OpenStack and we welcome Cumulus Networks as our co-sponsor! Open networking using a true Linux network operating system is a natural fit for OpenStack, enabling unified automation, monitoring and management across bare metal servers and switches. Traditionally, a challenge for companies looking to take advantage of the OpenStack solution had been the networking component. Jeff Monaco will lead our session and review how Cumulus Networks native Linux Network operating system (NOS) makes it easy and economical to deploy, configure and manage because the entire stack now runs Linux. Jeff Monaco is a Solutions Engineer at Cumulus Networks.
Topic #2: Service Assurance for OpenStack NFV workloads. Sandro Mazziotta - Director NFV Initiative - Openstack Product Management at Red Hat will take us through this topic. Reminders:
• Location: we will meetup at the Red Hat Open Innovation Labs facility, located at 300 A Street, Boston, MA 02210
• A gourmet Pizza dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of Cumulus starting ~ 6:15pm, followed by networking and we will kick off the session ~ 7:00pm.
• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!
