Opera "La Traviata" at Megabox

Some of opera fans must know that we can watch the operas on screen these days. There are not only MET live on screen these days. Megabox shows many operas from the famous opera festivals.

La Traviata is one of the most popular operas. As this year is the bicentennial year of Verdi, many theaters and festivals celebrate this year with his operas.

The conductor of this performance is Julian Kovatchev who has conducted the "Falstaff" by the Korea National Opera last March. He told me that this "La Traviata" production was a very fascinating one. In particular, the tenor Francesco Demuro is great (Maestro has found him in the STREET!).

Oh, I am afraid to tell you that there will be only Korean subtitle. However, the story and the music of this opera is very popular so I don't think it will be difficult to follow the opera. I am sure you can enjoy the music and their great performance.
