One of the major trends in the publishing business is to create books in a series. Readers enjoy the ongoing journey while publishers reap a return on investment as it brings customers back over and over.

Books in a series are packaged and repackaged, finding new readers and marketing opportunities. As an audience widens, opportunities such as audiobooks can open up. Series are also attractive to content-hungry entertainment and video game companies.

Author Matt Coyle has enjoyed success following this formula. The eighth book in his Rick Cahill series was recently released to thrilled readers. All previous 7 books appear in hard cover, audiobook, paperback, and Kindle formats. Matt stays busy releasing novels at a rate of nearly one per year.

We are returning back to our century-old roots when the club founders met inside coffee shops and restaurants to discuss the writing craft. Featured speaker meetings will include networking, author book signings, and more. The Anaheim Packing House is excited to host our group in a historic building has been converted into a “food hall” hosting dozens of food vendors. This will be a great place to grab your morning coffee or pastry, and then listen to our featured speaker.
