Meeting background
Building on work of CETA at Cornell Tech, the Orlando Lady Developers are kicking off a volunteer project to build tools and training materials to discover and address tech-related risks that could be of specific harm to survivors of intimate partner violence.

With an idea conceived of by Florence, a longtime tech volunteer in with Code for Orlando, ODevs, and the Orlando Lady Devs, this work will have opportunities for experts & nonexperts alike to engage to built tools for positive social impact.
This meeting will be a kickoff meeting focused on explaining the challenge, the opportunity, and the proposed solution. Individuals will have the chance to sign up to volunteer to drive the work forward and set up a regular cadence of meetings out of that event.
